Login to your cPanel account that you need to restore data to.
2. Click the "cPremote" icon under the "Files" category, as shown below:
3. You should be presented with an overview page as shown below
The icons shown above are fairly self-explanatory, but I will showcase the differences:
1. Restore Home
This will restore everything in your account, besides databases. Your "Home" directory is the entire folder of /home/username/, and replacing "username" with your cPanel login username. As everything besides databases are under of this home folder (the mail/ folder for all emails, public_html/ for all website files etc), restoring this would restore everything on your account besides databases.
2. Restore Document Root
This should be really named "Restore public_html". This would restore your entire public_html/ contents, but leave databases, emails untouched.
3. Restore Mail Directory
Again fairly self-explanatory, this would restore your email accounts, content, attachments, etc.
4. Restore File/Directory
This would be useful for restoring a single file or folder. You are required to know the name of the file or folder if you are going to restore it. If you are unsure, please contact us through your client area and we'll take a look!
5. Restore database
This would restore a database from the backup point. Before restoration, it would always be suggested to backup what you currently have, as databases will contain all of your order information, product information, etc.
